« on: July 09, 2007, 11:59:54 AM »

I don't know whether this is a bug or not, but all my completet rar and zip files turn out white in the finder and I can't open them anymore ( I'm using mac book pro ) .
All files I download seam to come out empty suddenly.   HELP.  What can I do ?

Are you sure they are empty? do they have zero size? have you tried a different software to uncompress them? what if you download another type of file, say, audio or video? did they work anytime and now do not work? explain better what your problem is, and you might get an answer.

Regards.

I normaly only download zip or rar audio files.Usually after  a download is completet in amule, I go to Finder to open it. In front  of the file  name is this little paper symbol, with rar or zip written on it . Now the papersymbol is  always empty whatever I download in amule,( as if a file has not been downloaded properly ) and I can't open it anymore.  Also, all other files I downloaded before ,  that have been marked as zip or rar files before in my Finder, now the little paper symbol is just white ,as if everything I ever downloaded  in amule, has bee miracuolosly erased. And I can't open any  amule files anymore whatsoever.
I am not a computer  specialist , so I really appreciate any help.
cheers

I think the program you used to open rar and zip files got damaged somehow. I have no idea about MacOS but files simply do not get all damaged at the same time. The problem lies on that software, not aMule itself.
