I don't see amule listed there.

Also, how would I know if I have a firewall?  Somtimes I have "kad firewaller" in the lower right corner of aMule, though more often than not it's "kad off."

Thanks.

Hi, everyone.  I'm trying to do my homework here, but I need a little help, and the first step would be . . .

"Since aMule is not listed in the "common ports" of Portforwarding, should I click emule?

Thanks.

eMule should be the same setup as aMule from that port forwarding page.

I found that port forwarding didn't do diddly-squat until I got a fixed (static) IP address first.  Got that yet?

I was told Kad turned off is more like Kad sleeping.  If you punch in a legitimate address, it should start up and attempt to access it.

Thanks, Irritable.

Can you tell me how to get a fixed (static) IP address?  Boy oh boy, I'm starting to realize how much I don't know about computers.  Whew!
