CRC errors in files upon tranfer lin --> win

Hi all,

I experience the following problem. When downloading especially bigger archives (e.g. some soundtrack compressed with rar) or CD/DVD-Images, transfer the files to a win client with samba or ftp, I have a lot of CRC errors. For example, I downloaded a 3,2GB rar archive with 67 rar archives inside. Decompressing the 3,2 GB archive, 5 of the smaller rar archives inside (50mb each) failed the CRC check.
When I decompress directly on the server, I have no problems.
When I download images, transfer these, and mount those and try to access the content, e.g. through installing it, I also get crc errors.

The whole system setup is as follows:

amuled is installed on a Fedora7 server, 1200MHz AMD, 1GB RAM, dedicated 70GB harddisk for amule only, with ext3 file system. Harddisk is shared through samba and ftp server.

Ne1 got any ideas?

Found the error, NIC (Network Interface Card) was incompatible. Was an old 3com 3c905b-TX.
replaced it with a no-name low budget card, all working fine.
