NULL hostname

Hi all,

im using FreeBSD 5.2 RELEASE and tried to use amule.
Everytime on startup, when it tries to connect to a server, i get a "trying to solve a NULL hostname, giving up". ;(

1.) what does this message means (e.g. what is a NULL hostname???)

2.)what can i do to fix it?
