Setting the nodes.dat
« on: November 06, 2007, 11:45:15 PM »

Hello All !

My aMule is running on a  Debian 4 Etch, and I use a GUI (from Windows XP) to access to it.
I would like to set a default nodes.dat address ; (per instance ; http://www.emule-inside.net/nodes.dat), in order to accelerate the Kad Connection.

How could I do it ?

I didn't found any line in the amule.conf, and in the GUI when I set the line, I get a message ; "You can't update the server.met from the GUI actually"

In fact, the reason is that my Kad status is ; "En marche" (running), but firewalled, and after a while Kad is disconnected.

Kind regards

Hi,

this does only work in developmental versions and I think it doesn't work with the remote gui at all, I'm sorry.

Thank you for this information. So now, I'm just wondering how to keep my Kad Connected...
