debian sid - yellow selection, not saved priority
« on: March 18, 2004, 01:28:19 AM »

Hello,

I have two problems with aMule.
When I select some file I can't see anything because selection is yellow (on amule screenshots it's grey). I found something like this on forum:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ls -l /usr/bin/wx*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4864 Nov 28 04:08 /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Feb 20 19:42 /usr/bin/wx-config -> wxbase-2.4-config

thats wrong ..

should be

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4864 2003-11-28 13:08 /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2003-12-26 19:41 /usr/bin/wxbase-config -> /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 2003-12-26 19:40 /usr/bin/wx-config -> /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5159 2003-09-21 15:14 /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1057968 2003-09-24 02:29 /usr/bin/wxhelp

look plz at my sig, compilation howto -> wxbase step .. there u'll see somesymlinks u have to do

reinstall/recompile amule after
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is mine
ls -l /usr/bin/wx*

lrwxr-xr-x    1 root     root           27 Mar  9 23:46 /usr/bin/wx-config -> /etc/alternatives/wx-config
( /etc/alternatives/wx-config ->  /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config )
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root         4865 Oct 25 14:44 /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
lrwxr-xr-x    1 root     root           26 Mar 14 18:29 /usr/bin/wxbase-config -> /usr/bin/wxbase-2.4-config
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root         5142 Oct 25 14:54 /usr/bin/wxgtk-2.4-config
lrwxr-xr-x    1 root     root            3 Mar  5 03:14 /usr/bin/wxvlc -> vlc

It's Debian Sid.  How can I do nice grey selection :) ???
I don't have wxhelp (?).
I add those symlinks and reinstall aMule - nothing happend.
Is those symlinks can be done without compiling AMule or wx? When I am upgrading system things compiled by my self are deleting so it's better to make everything on aMule and wx from debian repository.

And second thing.
When I'm working as ordinary user my settings like shared files priority, tranfering files priority are not saved on exit? And I must change every priority every time I turn on system. What's wrong?

Best Rigards :)

First thing is related to your GTK theme.

Second: version?

hello!

I turned off every auto priority and it's ok now :)

aMule is using gtk 1.2. I have tried to change every engine and it's not helping.
I have:
aMule 1.2.6-2
libgtk1.2  1.2.10-16
libgtk1.2-common  1.2.10-16

Best Regards

hi!

"Apply colors..." option have been checked.
But I have changed "Color scheme" in Control Center -> Appearance & Themes -> Colors -> Color Scheme and everything is ok now.

Thank You !
