aMule 2.2.0
« on: November 09, 2007, 11:38:29 PM »

I'm probably getting a bit pushy, but just to save me from checking this site every day to see if version 2.2.0 is out, can you please tell me approximately (judging from the amount of bugs that have to be fixed) when aMule 2.2.0 will be released.

Thanks

Let me quote myself:

Your constant buggering is pissing me off. Stop it or I'll stop it, OK?

I think a week of (unpaid) vacation should be something to enjoy. Registered users of the forum will get a mail once we've released a new version. Just keep on checking your mail every five minutes and you'll know when there's a new version.

Do you think it will take much time, until a new released version get's on Repository's like Ubuntu's?

Generally no, but this depends on the distribution.

For Archlinux, I think we can talk about a couple of days after the upstream release. For bigger distributions like Suse, Ubuntu, Mandriva or Fedora, I think they'll have aMule 2.2.0 in their next version. When we're talking about Debian, expect it in Lenny.
