libcryptopp rpms
« on: March 21, 2004, 02:02:40 PM »

I just made some new libcryptopp rpms for Fedora Core 1 and RedHat 9.
There are no important updates, i just decided to clean up something inside the rpm spec.
Anyone who's interested feel free to update to 5.1-3 which you can get at the amule cvs snapshot site.

Which version shall I use for a Mandrake 9.2 Linux box? I tried the Suse-RH, but I can still not install aMule 2.0RC1 because of missing libcrypto dependancies.

Thanks,

Hey!,

I got the solution for your Mandrake 9.2 libcryptopp.  Go to rpmseek.com and look up libcryptopp....the version called libcryptopp5 will show up in the list..get that one..then your amule 2.0 will install..i just did it a few min ago.  GOOD LUCK

Hello, my ftp client is not able to follow any of the links that are on the ftp sites, and my browser only tells me that the pages do not exist:

550 /Mandrake-devel/contrib/i586/libcryptopp5-5.1.mdk.i586.rpm: No such file or directory

Indeed the contrib directory is a link to something that I cannot access.

What did I wrong?

Thanks

Hey,

You can change the ftp downloading tool fro packages in "Configure your computer"....under packaging.. find a new FTP site from mandrakes webpage of network downloads.... that will solve the URPMI ftp dowload problem
