There is one good thing, however. Minimize to trayicon works fine :))

Hi Master,

I don't think your problem is amule related.

736Mo -> 743 Mo remaining arrives when someone is uploading to you corrupted data.
As the remaining size is given instantaneously it increases when you get data, but when
the uploader stops uploading, amule looks the part and analyzes it as corrupted, then it
drops it.

I am at this time finishing (still 200Mo to go) with cvs a file  of 2,7Go  beginning with 1.2.6 . Hoping
it will be completed without problem.

But I am sure that a file begun with amule cvs will finish as i tested it on a local config :
- eserver on local 1
- emule 0.42d on local 1 in vmware for uploading a file of 3Go
- amule cvs on local 2

md5 after checking ( just to be sure ) were the same

domino,

I think you have a point, because in the amule log section I read a few messages about corrupted files.

The question is will I ever be able to download the file. It seems to me that I am always getting corrupted files. Actually only a couple of parts of the entire file are corrupted...  The other thing is that why these files are corrupted. How is it possible to download these from 7 different sources and all to give corrupted files. Are they truly corrupted or is there a bug in amule?

What is this I.C.H?

Right click on the file and select "show file details" gave the following disturbing message
Lost to corruption: 980MB
Packages saved by I.C.H: 0

Whatever I.C.H is, it does not work

One thing that I do not understand is why I lost so many byte on that file.

PS. for gentoo users... I didn't try but crypto++/cryptopp problem should be solved using portage crypto++ and creating symbolic links

Code: [Select]
ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto++.a /usr/lib/libcryptopp.a

ln -s /usr/include/crypto++ /usr/include/cryptopp

I think the problem with crypto++ is a minor problem.

The important issue here is whether the new vesion of amule can download files larger than 2GB. So far, from my experience I have to say that it can't. I do not know if this is because of corrupted parts or something else, but it just can not download the file
