Automation script
« on: February 29, 2008, 05:15:01 PM »

Hi all,

I want to do a script for moving particular files from Incoming directory in others directories. I want that video files go into the video directory, mp3 into the music directory and programs into the programs directory.  How can I do this??
Can you help me?
I use amule into my server so I have only amuled and amuleweb, I think to do this using a script .sh. Have you any suggestions??

Thank you

Oh thank you for your help.
I have a question for you about CATEGORIES, I knew that CATEGORIES option doesn't work with only amuled and amuleweb.  Can you explain me how i can use that?
Your script is very good!!

Thank you very  much!

Right. You cannot create categories with amuleweb and (sigh!) amulegui yet. But you can use them in amuled!!!

I create categories once running the GUI  'monolithic' application.  Then I shutdown amule and switch back to amuled.

Or you can manually configure categories in the amule.conf file . I bet you can find some example in the wiki.

Thank you for you, but I don't find anything in the wiki. Can you post your amuled.conf  so I can see the correct configuration of category :)

Thank you,
