i compiled amule just with option "--enable-debug"

it crashed right after start.

This one is interesting, because it seems to happen inside wxwidgets, when creating a wxFileName object. Could you please try to compile wx from source and try it again?

In the meantime, look for a file called ED2KLinks in your aMule and take a closer look at the content. Please post it here or rather send me a PM if you believe the content may cause the crash.

i reconfigured amule with wx 2.8.7 form source:

"--with-wxdebug --enable-debug".

wx was configured with "--enable-debug --with-gtk".

and of course the according prefixes...

so far i was not able to reproduce the crash...

as is unterstand it, the file "ED2KLinks" contains ed2k links, that where catched by "ed2k" while amule was not running.
there are almost every time some files that have to be added when amule starts.
