CVS-20080705 GUI really laggy

resizing columns, opening from tray, expanding file client list...ect..

build with, wxgtk 2.8.7;
--enable-geoip \
--enable-debug \
--disable-upnp \
--disable-optimize

and running with gdb

Only in the transfer window, right ? And you are downloading lots of big files ?
Try disabling the progress bars.
Also, what do you expect with --disable-optimize ?

I've compiled todays cvs and the laggy'ness is gone.

There was no change in the progressbar code. Did you turn on optimization ? If yes, then that's the reason.
