Banning bad mods
« on: April 03, 2004, 08:00:50 PM »

Hi,

The latest version of eMule bans (among others) the LioNetwork mod for community boost and disregard of the GPL (see http://forum.emule-project.net/index.php?showtopic=43664).
Would you please incorporate this into aMule, too?
And while we are at it: What leecher/bad mod countermeasures are already active in aMule? I never read something about that on this board but think that it's an important detail to stabilize the network.

Greets, fz.

I will contact eMule devs for a up-to-date leecher ban list.

I agree with this feature request. Moreover, can this be extended to unknown mod
that are sending bad packet etc ... :-)
