But I don't know how to use it :(

Can you give me a lil' hint?

Just some URL so I don't need to start searching...

Should I recompile with debugging symbols (using the debian package).

Now I always get: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcrypto++ when compiling, stopping the whole procedure... :(

don't get the compile to work. downloaded all the needed packages... including crypto++-dev and stuff. aso tried apt-get build-dep amule...
nothing helped.

ldconfig neither...

giving up... at least for now...

dl crypto from our dl page, untar it, make as user, make install as root & ldconfig

should work

it only worked after downloading, compiling, installing crypto and then adding --with-crypto-prefix=../crypto-5.1/

Something's definitely out of order (ooo) here!

then when
I want to quit

"(gdb) quit
The program is running.  Exit anyway? (y or n) n
Not confirmed."

what does that mean, I can't see any window open...!

aMule closes exactly after I click okay on the "the selected locale seems not to be installed on your system"-message.

I'm normally not stupid, but those are all things I don't know how to handle... sorry!

regenerating locales with dpkg-reconfigure locales and including the eu_ES ones did not help, but removing one of the two message pop-ups. It still doesn't show the main window. :(  I'm done for the day again....
