2.2.2 MacOSX

The MacOSX version has been added to the Berlios download page thanks to gtoso, who has proved skillful and trusted when it comes to building packages, so he's now part of the team.

Seems that amule 2.2.2 trigger a weird xorg memory leak, since after some hours of work (not many) xorg starts to leak lot of GB and afterwords amule is terminated... v2.2.1 isn't affected
Any way to understand what is going on?

Ciao Cimmo,

are you still using Ubuntu or is this on another operating system/distribution?

Could you please open a new thread in the forum and tell us more about your operating system, library versions and if you use self compiled packages or where you downloaded them? We'll then try some things to find our more about the problem.

As it's very hard to fix such bugs (they are probably not directly caused by aMule, but by an underlying library), your assistance is much appreciated.

I'm using kubuntu 8.04.1 and getdeb packages, libwxgtk installed now are 2.6.3.2.2 and 2.8.7.1 so I don't know which amule is using
I don't have much time, I will try to post a thread in the forum in the future.

I builded a new 2.2.2 package that allows to expand /Volumes and share external volumes,
changes:
new wxMac version 2.8.9
in wxMac I replaced mac/carbon/dirmac.cpp with unix/dir.cpp
new libpng version 1.2.32
new GeoIP.dat

Can you upload it to sourceforge?
Rename it as you prefer, I added a _2 to indicate that it was a new build.

Ok, I have just uploaded it. I have left the _2 in the name so that people know it is not the same file they have downloaded before.
