Due to recent
reports that the windows installer possibly contains a virus, it has been updated. The new installer has a "-2" in its name, i.e. aMule-2.2.2-2-installer.exe. It is compiled and built on a Linux system from source with every library and tool it uses (even the compiler itself). So, as much as one can be sure of it, it does not contain any malicious code ( = virus or other malware).
It's also available on the ed2k network: ed2k://|file|aMule-2.2.2-2-installer.exe|8227940|41eb24effd568f666b7fe5034c8642ad|/
All (official) download locations have been updated and the old installer has been removed.
Have a nice aMule experience!
