can't see all toolbar properly
« on: October 31, 2008, 03:45:57 PM »

Hi,

I've just installed amule and despite I changed resolution of my display/screen, some top buttons are not visible (preferences for instance).
So, I can't setup the tool properly.

Also, I made a search on this forum but found nothing on this issue.

fyi, I succeeded yesterday to see one button more (statistics) by incvreasing my resolution until 1280 x ....

Any idea?

Thanks.

PS: I am on PC PIII, 1Ghz RAM under Windows XP, second edition.
PS2: a friend of mine installed it also recently and he faced exactly the same issue. But he can see one or 2 buttons more as his screen can go until 1400 x .... for resolution.

What language are you using?

With English aMule 2.2.2, all buttons are visible even on 800x600 resolution (Windows XP).

To set aMule language to English (without using the preferences button), edit the file C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\aMule\amule.conf (where <username> is your Windows user name), and in the [eMule] section set "Language=en_GB".

Ok, I found the original post about this problem, and tried French language. There seems to be a bug in the French translation, that makes the toolbar buttons too wide. Follow the instructions in the previous post to select another language.
