amule 64 bits does not start up
« on: November 03, 2008, 11:38:48 AM »

I have installed amule x86_64 on my AMD, MSI K9N2 SLI platinum platform. After installation I find the startup icon under internet. If I click nothing happens. If I start manually it says:
Initialising aMule
Checking if there is an instance already running...
There is an instance of aMule already running
Raising current running instance.

But still nothing happens!
So please some advice. I have experience with other linux distro's but fedora is fairly new to me

There must be lock file in ~/.aMule directory that makes aMule "think" that another instance is running. Such state may result from previous crash.
