Movie content different to Movie Title on aMule
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:19:49 PM »

Hi!! Guys..
I am a new comer..
Since yesterday I managed to download the movie titled SOMETHING.avi file,
but to my great  surprise when I opened to play it was a presentation by former
US Vice President Algore.
Now today I have started downloading again SOMETHING, and when I
tried to make a Preview check I found out again different content.
This is happening for the first time to me...What am I doing wrong??
Can someone tell me please... :-[
Thanks a lot

First of all: never mention here what you are downloading, unless it's 100% legal.

You encountered a so-called "fake": people tend to name there files not always according to content.
So this is what you have to do after starting a download:
- wait a few minutes until the sources have been contacted
- open the detail dialog and look what names your sources have given to the file
- if a majority of the sources have it named like what you want, it's probably fine
- if the majority is something else or the filenames look random it probably isn't what you want. Try a different search result.
