I have defined them in src/libs/ec/abstracts/ECCodes.abstract and FOR ME it is working. There is a perl script that generates sources from some sort of metalanguage. May be I'm absolutely wrong but for me (not using remote GUI neither daemon) it's a valid quick fix.
