Now, I've found the folder immediately and replaced the old ipfilter.dat with the new one without any problem. Thanks.
I copied and pasted
http://peerates.net/servers.php into the box entitled 'Add server manually: Name'. After doing this, a list of 11 servers appears in the upper ED2K window. Although most of them have Server names such as 'Master Server xx' or 'StormShare X', where 'x' is a single or double digit number, in the description column to the right, these servers are all called '
www.StormSex.net'
Are those just harmless server name descriptions or does this mean I am connecting to servers whose main folder and file servings are porn? If so, I'm not interested in them and would like to know how to delete them. If on the other hand they are just names, which don't have any relation to the folders and files served through them, I don't care and will leave them.
Further on in the helpful instructions for getting a clean server list, there is discussion of something called Peerates Analysis Centre. I followed instructions for disconnecting aMule, deleting all the servers in the server window, reconnecting and deleting 'peerates.net' test servers. The 'StormSex' servers still appear. I don't mind this, and am not moralistic about it. It is just that if I am not interested in most of the files and folders they serve, are they worth having on my server list?
