You say "No, its' impossible! Not again!"
We say "Yes, it's true, you have to live with it."

The good news is that we're preparing another aMule release. The bad news is that it's still from the 2.2.x series. You're getting used to it, aren't you?

To tell you the truth, we're afraid to increase the middle number and release 2.3.0 (or something similar), because you may easily get a heart-attack from the shock when you realize it. But we care for our users (see how good we are?), we don't want to make "aMule users"="extinct species". Thus the new release will be called 2.2.6 and you can only expect some bug fixes, no shiny new features - but if you're interested go download the tarball and see the changelog for yourself.

Just a few things still to mention (I know you tend to forget about them):
  • Translators: please check out the translation statistics page, you can find new string(s). (Plural form applies when you were lazy before.)
  • Testers and bleeding-edge users: please test the lastest tarball from the RELEASE-2_2_X branch.
  • Everyone: Please post your experiences (patches, translations) in the Prerelease board.

Last words?
Have fun!

It should have been already, however, real life changed schedule. Next week, probably.
