Handling ed2k links in Debian squeeze 64 bits
« on: October 26, 2009, 05:40:36 PM »

Hello,

I recently installed amule in my homeserver running linux squeeze (32 bits). I'm trying to setup remote ed2k links posting to the daemon following the instructions under http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Ed2k_links_handling

I  setup the link manage under my girlfriend's windows box following the instructions and all works ok. I'm currently trying to get it work in my desktop running debian squeeze 64bits. I created the script and tested it, all is ok (so I need to execute in the following way: ./ed2k.sh "elink"). I included the three entries in about:config and iceweasel asked me the app to open the elinks with, I tell th script (/home/<my_user>/bin/ed2k.sh), so aMule doesn't receive the link.

Could you help me, please?
Thank you very much in advance

(using amule from the official debian repository, 2.2.5 in both machines)
