Connections lost!?!

hi, I cannot connect to the network, the log reads,

2009-12-22 12:58:33: Connection attempt to eMule Security (213.155.20.16:4242) timed out.
2009-12-22 12:58:33: Connecting to eDonkeyServer No2 (212.63.206.35 - 212.63.206.35:4242) using protocol obfuscation.
2009-12-22 12:58:33: Connected to eDonkeyServer No2 (212.63.206.35:4242)
2009-12-22 12:58:33: Lost connection to eDonkeyServer No2 (212.63.206.35:4242)
2009-12-22 12:58:33: Connection lost
2009-12-22 12:58:34: Connection attempt to Sharing Kingdom 4 (194.126.175.170:4500) timed out.
2009-12-22 12:58:34: Connecting to Master Server 8 (83.233.165.61 - 83.233.165.61:4500) using protocol obfuscation.
2009-12-22 12:58:34: Connected to Master Server 8 (83.233.165.61:4500)
2009-12-22 12:58:34: Lost connection to Master Server 8 (83.233.165.61:4500)
2009-12-22 12:58:34: Connection lost

and it keeps repeating on the other ones too.

What's the problem?

You're trying to connect to servers on port 4242 and 4500. Are you sure your firewall allows this? Try to get a new server list and connect to servers you allowed on your firwall.

hey thanks for your reply again.

I've allowed all incoming connections to my server, so I think that doesn't post any problem to the connection. The connection is lost not just on these two but ALL, is there any possible ways to solve it? I've also got a new server list too but that won't work.

Btw, I've tried to set the programme back to the default settings, but I can't find the amule config file in the place you told me, are there any possible ways? Thanks so much!

Indeed there is another way. While working on the manpage rewrite I saw the --reset-config option. So you can just open a konsole or something coresponding on your mac where you can enter params to progs and type "amule -r" or "amule --reset-config"
