Finally i've decided to un-install the whole aMule and re-install again.
However, i risk to loose all my half-downloaded files.
I hope that you have not done so already,
because its very easy to keep those half-downloaded files files.
First, you need to locate where they are stored.
Im guessing you only changed the destination of the
"Destination folder for downloads" (for finished downloads), right?
So that your half-downloaded files will still be in the default "Folder for temporary download files",
which in my case is: /home/rrm/.aMule/Temp
and in your case something like: /home/afrodisiac/.aMule/Temp
So, just go to Places > Home > "afrodisiac" (or whatever name you chose)
and you will see a number of folders, but not the aMule folder (yet),
because its hidden.
To see it, go to (in that directory) "view" and check "show hidden files".
Now you see a .aMule folder.
In that folder there are a number of files and 2 more folders:
"Incoming" and "Temp".
"Temp" contains the half-downloaded files
Copy the files in that "Temp" folder (part, part.met and part.met.bak files),
and paste them into a new folder (create a new folder in your documents folder, for example).
After the installation of a new aMule, you can copy and paste these files back into the newly created "Temp" folder.
Then start aMule, and it will resume downloading where it ended.
