Loophole in the system?

Currently somebody is downloading from me from 3 different countries simultaneously,
but all from the same account!
How do i know its the same account?
Because he currently has downloaded 43.531 GB and that number now is, and has always been identical
for all 3 his 'clients' (He is downloading from Switzerland, France and Italy simultaneously)
Thus he is downloading 3 different files simultaneously from me.
Anybody knows something about this?

The user hash of those 3 different 'clients' is identical,
and he always uses the 3.0A version of New MLDonkey,
but the user ID and the IP address are always different.

RRM, I regret that I don't have any answer for you. I too encountered  someone utilizing the same "loophole". Said "client" was apparently using multiple "accounts" to download files from me simultaneously. This downloader operated under only one flag (I'm not going to say which). I was really taken aback when I made this "discovery". This "cheating" defeats the whole purpose of SHARING apps like aMule. I guess I'm just living in dreamland...

There must be a way to counteract this.
Maybe by checking the user hash of each client?
(by aMule, of course)

How so? Credit balance is shared between the 3 clients with the same id probably.

Then it's no surprise that the downloaded amount is always the same: it's accounted by userhash.

That may be either a bug in MLDonkey or a faked userhash. Or I don't know.

Or someone posting a set of "good config files" and several people using them. That's my guess.  :)

I guess you are right,
as this morning only the Italian was downloading,
and the Swiss and French only resumed downloading in the early evening.
