I have installed amule 2.2.5 and configured TCP 4662 and UDP 4672 ports on amule prefences and on my ADSL Alice gate modem/router.
I have been able to connect with High Id , two green arrows upload/dowload and downloaded a couple of movies quite quickly.
The day after launching amule I started to get low id and KAD firewalled. I have tried changing the TCP and UDP ports  value on both amule config and my modem router, but I keep getting a low id and KAD firewalled.
Any suggestion ?
Thanks Didi

I'm having a similar problem.  I'm running Tiger 4.11 on a G4 with aMule 2.2.5.  I've never gotten Hi ID / non-firewall.

I guess I posted in the wrong Forum.  I posted in multi platform / Mac OSX, not here.   I copied parts of  aMule Log File and the List of Connections from Norton Firewall (disabled).

See if the log is the same.

Have you solved your problem yet?  I'm not sure there are many members who check in here.

If anyone reads this and has some insight or not, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Didi, make sure that your computer's local IP, the one you have to put on the modem to open the ports, hasn't changed. If you're using DHCP and your computer's ip changes, the port forward won't work anymore.

Tomecho, I read your post, but wasn't sure what to say. It's a different issue if you never got High ID, because it shows something wrong in your setup, or that your ISP blocks those ports and you should try a different one. I'll move your thread here where other people can walk you through the steps to find out what's going on.
