moving completed files between instalations
« on: November 22, 2010, 03:26:06 AM »

I've just set up amuled on my headless box, and copied my complete files to its incoming directory. How can I share those files?

I get the following message from amuled:

No shareable files found in directory: /home/mule/files

Being /home/mule/files is my incoming directory...

Are the files in that directory or in a subdirectory? You know, subdirectories are not shared by default.

They are all in top level directory. But it worked now. I just left them there overnight and suddenly they started to be uploaded. It seems that their hash were being calculated but no GUI told me that... and it would take a looong time, since a 30GB torrent hash check was competing with aMule for an ARM9 500MHz processor.

Good to know. We're working on a solution to show hashing progress in such cases.
