Difference between size and transferred

Hello,

For the past few files I downloaded I have had the followimh problem:

File size is reported to be 175 MB
Transferred reports that 173 MB have been transferred
And yet Amule report that downloading has completed (green progress bar).

Is there something wrong with my settings?

The data was compressed at transfer, and so less than the file size was transferred. Everything is fine.  :)

Or contrary if there is corrupted data, the transferred is much more than the completed!

Ex. I'm downloading a file, transferred 441 MB, completed 239 MB, and my log is full of corrupt messages...
