Does amule connect to an anonymous p2p network or are the ip addresses of the down/ up loaders as open as bittorrent?

I noticed emule is anonymous and wondered if this is the same.

NO P2P is "anonymous" in any real sense of the word!

If you want anonymity then look to Freenet or TOR!
