amule change from low to High Priority help
« on: October 19, 2011, 07:09:55 PM »

Hello fellows,

I have a problem I wish you can help me with.

I installed amule in order to download files, obviously, but every time I perform downloads, these are carried out with low priority, no matter what I do, which makes the process very slow.

I already opened the ports TCP 4662 and UDP 4672, both in the firewall and the router and still the download are assigned as low priority.

Could you please tell me what am I missing in order to establish high priority downloads?

How do you get the idea that your downloads are "carried out with low priority" ?
Yes, there is a download priority system, but it works only in relation. If you download 10 episodes of a show put the first 2 on high, and you have a good chance they arrive first. That's the idea.
Putting everything on high won't have any effect though.
