Hi there and question
« on: January 02, 2012, 06:15:38 PM »

Hello!
I'm new on the forum cuz I recently bought an iMac 22" and install these last days the aMule.
Because of that, I'm apologize if this is not the place to ask/write this topic/question....
I tried to find any answer first using the search engine but nothing appears....
Be patient with me please... as a rookie...  ;D

I'm trying to download more than one file at the same time (20, 25 aprox) and every day the program just download 3 of them at a time.
When finish one, then another start downloading...
Is there any way to say aMule to download all the file listed?...

Hope to write this in the right place and time  ::)
Thanx a lot to the team!!!

Regards!

Welcome to the forum, Doc!

What version of aMule are you using?
What does it say in the columns "Status" and "Priority"?

It's perfectly normal that downloading takes a while.

Hi there Stu! then for the welcome!
Well, I', using the last (I think) version for Mac OS X Lion 2.3.1
In "Priority" everyone of them are in "Auto" and in Status just 5 of them  "Downloading" and the rest in "Waiting".

What I would like to found (as in the eMule in Windows) is that I can download more than 5's at the same time...
In my case, always just download 5.... dunno why...

Hope this help to find out the answer and if you need more data just ask again! (don't forget to be patient!!!!  ;D)

Thanx for all!

If the files you're downloading are from a series or collection, you might very well have the same sources for all of your files. In that case one source is only asked for one file at a time (you cannot download more than one file from a single source at the same time). That may explain the behaviour you're observing.
