Strange issue with Kad
« on: February 20, 2012, 06:14:29 PM »

Hi to all,

After realize all Amule installation and configure all options, category and rest, I found that Kad service dont' work correctly, or at least I cant able to check it.

As server said, Kad is working, but it's state is disconected

Ports has been redirected properly across the router, I keep original installation ports, that I have read kad service should not work if it changes and I have left
open all Amule ports in right way.

El puerto, aparte de haberlo redirigido correctamente a través del router, he mantenido el de origen, ya que he leido que podía dar problemas, y he dejado también abiertos el resto de puertos necesarios para el servicio.

I try to restart amuled service too, reload nodes.dat from other and now I have not idea to continue investigating.

As log said, there isn't any problem, but really, I undestand that for the behavior and rest simptoms still not working.

Bad nodes.dat I think. You can get a working one from http://upd.emule-security.org/nodes.dat

I run Amule 2.2.2
You realize that it's almost 4 years old? There were several releases since then.

Hi,

I find a mixed solution to this problem. First of all, I find and installed latest versión of amule for my plattform (2.3.1 RC1-2). But, I have needed reload nodes.dat file to work fine Kad net.

In this case, i have it succesfully, but I create other issue, that I can't connect with amuled by amulegui client. I have tried to use 2.2.2 version that I have (it close suddenly without error), and the ones included in 2.6 and 2.3.1 version with same error message: "Invalid protocol version.(0x0204 != 0x0203)". I have   aMuleD SVN compiled with  v2.8.12. Any idea about which amuleGUI I need to use or How I can make it work??

Best Regards

I answer myself, reading along older posts, I found a link to download amuleGUI in 2.3.1 RC1 Versión that it's works fine.

Thanks a lot for your support.
