wat will be next?
« on: November 18, 2003, 12:12:31 AM »

just saw xmule has a new version out. Looks like the guys are 'online' again. are you guys going to copy the changes (or did they just copy yours ;-)), going to merge, or just continue this way? I mean, I guess now the same work is done twice... thats quite useless, isnt it?

Dont understand me wrong, I love your job, its very good you guys picked this up cuz it all went wrong at xmule, but well I think its useless to do the same work twice, just that...

hmmm, so if I understand this correctly, xmule should copy from amule, and amule has almost everything xmule has? maybe the bugfixes/fixed memleaks in xmule are usefull?

euh another question, is the bug found that crashes amule after some time, when you hide the main window? (it doesnt crash if you dont hide the main window, but it wont be long till a crash if you do hide it, heard others about it too - guess its common?)

Ok,

1.7.0 doesn't add anything more since 1.6.1 as long as i see Changelog, it's just a rewrite with all messages commit from last dev (have you look the date of last changes on cvs ???).

xMule doesn't handle zlib and aMule does ... you must understand aMule code was not anymore same as xMule at this time and maybe we introduced some bugs in new code.

But the problem is known and i see commits related to the systray stuff, so, i hope it was fixed in cvs now ...
