When amule quits I get this response :
"Could not find version control"
When I restart it works for about a week.
Do I need this version control? If so how do
I get it back if it is missing?
Still using UpnP and Portmapper and I am not
getting firewalled.Amule seems to be working
well besides the problem with version control.

I know nothing about this message, and I'm pretty sure it isn't aMule that prints it. That is, I cannot help you resolve this issue.

But as you state that aMule works well, I suggest you to just simply ignore this message.

Correction :
Can not find versioncontrol -file.
I still get this message when I get disconnected from Amule.
I almost everytime get connected again without actions.

If you can, please list the *exact* message you are seeing including whitespace and punctuation.  And where and how is the message appearing?  Is it in a log file somewhere, appearing in the terminal, popping up in some sort of dialog box seemingly part of amule, etc?  Also maybe what platform you are on (Windows, Mac, Linux?)  with as much details as reasonably possible.  I tried to Google your error message in an attempt to get more information but unfortunately it is too ambiguous.
