Is it possible to save aMule config files from a WD EX2 Ultra?

Yes, WD EX uses modified Linux distro as firmware so you can connect to it via SSH2. The config file is located below as I provided you with the absolute path to it.

/var/lib/amuled/.aMule/amule.conf

Well I assume you accessed the web interface and enabled SSH first before trying to login directly, if not you can do it from Network panel. Then try using default credentials (user: root | password: welc0me).

For WD EX2 users the path is /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/aMule/.aMule
