Current rc4 release plans
« on: May 29, 2004, 09:48:27 PM »

We plan to finish unicode support on monday, then some days to hard-test it, and rc4 next weekend.

Just to keep you informed. I know is boring to come and see no news ;)

As wxWidgets 2.5.2 is also planned to be out this week, there *might* be a little delay if aMule has problems with the new version. But let's hope there's no problem :)

thank you

will amule mantain compatibility with stable wxwidgets releases (2.4.x)? it could be a problem if a development snapshot is needed (could break other programs or something similar)

report : installing 2.0-rc3 on MDK-9.2
« Reply #8 on: June 25, 2004, 03:51:47 PM »

Installed aMule-2.0-rc3 on my MDK-9.2 & it worked fine :)
I followed <http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/MDK10_install> for a part, & amule Installing with RPM on the other window.
i did urpmi libcryptopp5, then urpme wxXXX, then rpm -Uvh wxXXX-2.4.2-1.586.rpm, then  gd-2.0, then amule-2.0-rc3.
No problem for the moment except i had to take away "xchm" while taking away wxXXX

Now 2.0-rc3 is quite faster to load than 1.6

Thanks deltaHF for telling us how2 manage ed2k on Opera & so on :)
