It slows my system
« on: June 10, 2004, 07:04:17 PM »

Hi guys, i have a problem with aMule 2.0.0rc3. I installed it - from rpm- a week ago (i'm using mandrake 10) and it worked very well. But, suddenly, it started to slow down my computer: i dont' know what happened! I uninstalled it and tried to build it from source code, hoping that it would make it run a little faster but... nothing!
The last stable version (i think it's 1.2.6) it's way faster, but it keeps downloading corrupted parts (if i download 100 megabytes, at least 30 are corrupted... isn't it strange?).
What can i do?

Thanks in advance...

Verbose is off. Auto priority now is off but things are the same... What else you want to know?
I looked at cpu usage, and with aMule it is always over 80%. When i close it it goes down to 20% ?(

Thanks  :D

The output is:

wx_gtk
-pthread -lwx_gtk-2.4

?(

I don't know if it helps, but when i run "./configure --disable-debug --enable-optimise", the last lines are:

Which libraries should aMule use?
wxWidgets          2.4.2
GTK                1.2.10

You guessed from by bad english?  :D
No, i'm not french speaking (well, i can understand it a little), i'm italian.
I looked at your post, followed the advices in "Optimisation de l'utilisation du CPU", but it is still too slow...

Thanks anyway!
