amulecmd issue with SERVER CONNECT
« on: June 22, 2004, 11:20:34 PM »

Hya,

I'm been wondering around about this, but all my options are over.
I need to use the SERVER CONNECT command using amulecmd. But I've been unable too.
This is what happends:

aMule$ SERVER CONNECT 81.84.97.64 4661
Not Connected

Someone from the portuguese forum sayd that I must use the name of the server on my servers list. So I did:

aMule$ SERVER CONNECT sado 4661
Not Connected

Same thing... Any help with this one?

Its the server name in the IP column not the server name givem by amule.

If it is an IP address (123.123.123.123:1234) that is there you make:

SERVER CONNECT 123.123.123.123 1234

If it is a server name like "sado.kicks-ass.net:4661" you make:

SERVER CONNECT sado.kicks-ass.net 4661

I thought I've allready said that didn't worked for me. But anyway here it goes:

to @ gandalf $ > amulecmd

This is amulecmd (TextClient)

Creating client...
Now, doing connection....
Using host localhost port 4712
Succeeded ! Connection established

---------------------------------
|       aMule text client       |
---------------------------------

Use 'Help' for command list

aMule$ SERVER CONNECT 195.245.244.243 4661
Not Connected

aMule$ SERVER CONNECT 81.84.97.64 4661
Not Connected

aMule$ quit

Ok, exiting Text Client...
to @ gandalf $ >

doesn't work...

Does server connect really have arguments? I coded it so it connects to a random server, back when I did that.

aMule$ SERVER CONNECT
Syntax error!

aMule$ help

->Help: Avalaible commands :
.........
SERVER CONNECT name port: Connect to server.            Syns: SERVER CONNECT

Since it doesn't can it be included on rc4? Small thing really it checks if you have any arg after the CONNECT and connect to the specific port?
