Hi there,
first of all my compliments to the CVS-Versions. I use aMule-cvs-20040624.tar.bz2 and it never run so stable before. I'm very pleased with it.
Only thing that does not work anymore is the webinterface. Before compiling i configured it with
./configure --disable-debug --enable-webserver and used the same
.eMule configfile i used for RC3. Under RC3 the webinterface worked, but under the CVS-Version i cant connect to it. Starting the amuleweb after amule didn't make any problems. It says
WSThread: created socket listening on :4711 like in RC3 but i get a timeout in my browser even if i try to connect directly on the linux-machine i'm running amule on. Same thing happens if i try to connect over LAN.
Here some Vars in my config:[WebServer]
Password=25d...
PasswordLow=098...
Port=4711
Enabled=1
UseGzip=1
UseLowRightsUser=1
PageRefreshTime=120
DontCompressAvi=1
[ExternalConnect]
AcceptExternalConnections=1
ECUseTCPPort=1
ECPort=4712
ECPassword=25d.....
DlgTabsOnTop=0
UseSecIdent=1
IpFilterOn=0
UseSrcSeeds=0
ShowProgressBar=0
ShowPercent=1
ExtractMetaDataTags=0
FullChunkAlloc=0
FullPartAlloc=0
Now my Questions:1. Are my configsettings correct (as is said they worked on RC3)?
2. Have there been any changes on the webinterface since RC3?
3. How can i get more information about what goes wrong when connecting?
Additional Questions (just for curiosity):4. Have changes i make on the configfile while amule is running any effect?
5. If Answer on 4 is yes: In what intervalls is the configfile accessed?
6. In Answer on 4 is no: Is it possible to change downloadspeed from a pc on LAN without VNC and while amule is running?
7. Where can i find a changelog from on cvs-version to another one?
8. What are the following config-switches for?
--enable-http
--enable-ftp
BTW: If i use --enable-optimise it never seems to finish compilation. After 40 Minutes i canceled it. Without it it doesnt even take 5 Minutes.
Well, thats all!

Thanks for your help in advance!
Greetings,
Chris
