Hi!
As some of you may know, in Portugal we have to use the ipfilter.dat to avoid international trafic, due to restrictions from portuguese ISP's (they charge downloads from outside Portugal at unreasonable prices X().
I started to use debian sid, about a month ago, and after installing amule 1.2.6+cvs20040620-1, which is available through apt-get, I noticed that the ipfilter.dat is not efective.
We are discussing this problem on the amule portuguese forum and until now it seems that I am the only person with this problem. There are no other portuguese users, that I know of, using debian and amule.
After inspecting the ipfilter.dat with the help of
linuxuser, who modified the ipfilter.dat to our needs, I am almost certain that the problem must be in the amule version that I am using.
My question is: is there anyone using debian and amule+ipfilter that have noticed something unusual (trafic not being blocked)?
Thanks in advance.
