Drops Connection?
« on: July 03, 2004, 11:51:51 AM »

Hi, well Im fairly new to Linux and completly new to a-mule.   I have installed a-mule 1.2.6 on Mandrake 10. I downloaded al the rpm from http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Compilation_Installation
I then used Kpackage to install them.
Once I run a-mule it then brings up the server list i attempted to join Razorback, it connects for approx 5 secs and then reports back Lost connection to Razorback.   I have adsl 256/128, I have it configured 15kB down and up 8kB.
I have a router with a firewall, I have open tcp 4661, udp 4664, and  udp 4672 on the firewall.
What am I missing I have shared a folder , only got 1 mp3 in it lolololool)
Any help would be great.

This happens also with any other server?
If so, then try moving ~/.eMule and ~/.aMule and see if it works. take all those files back again to it's original place one-by-one untill you see it behaves wrong again.
Greetings

What I mean:
mv ~/.eMule to ~/.eMule.old and start aMule. If it works ok now, then just remove the new .old file. If not, then try doin dthe same wth all files inside the ~/.aMule folder
Greetings!
