aMule 1.2.7 and 2.0.0rc3 crash on Mandrake Linux10
« on: July 05, 2004, 04:10:28 PM »

Hello,

I'm install eMule step-by-step with Mandrake 10 installation faq. aMule works OK but it connect only at LowID. Next i add this:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 4662 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 4665 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 4672 -j ACCEPT

to the IPTABLES rules/script file. Mule again connect with LowID and will crash everytime. Sometimes it work 5, sometimes it work 30 minutes. When it crash it console be written this text:

OOPS! - Seems like aMule crashed

hey

could it be taht you are missing wxgtk-2.4-config?

in one of your above post it was not listet when you did ls -l....

maybe check that.... it could be the reason, if so reinstall wxGTK2.4 and wxGTK2.4-dev
we have a speacial howto in our wiki page just klick the FAQ button, there should be a howTO for mandrake10
