memory usage
« on: July 18, 2004, 01:03:38 PM »

Hi,
i am running amule 2.0.0.rc4a on a Debian Testing system (kernel 2.6.6-1-k7).
I am not quite sure but even if I stop amule, the memory used don't decrease.
   Is it a known problem?
Ta

Many issues here. you should be more descriptive:
RPM, Deb, etc or did you compile froum source?
Which wx version?
By "stop" do you mean stopping transfers or to close aMule?
Also, aMule rc4a is out ;-)

Not an aMule issue then, for sure ;-)
If an app is not running, it's not consuming CPU nor memory. This is not Windows any more ;-D
Run ''top'' to see which applications are consuming all that much resources.
Good louck on yuor investigation! hehe
