« on: August 11, 2004, 03:40:03 AM »

Hi all,

I have one old pc and i early install debian in it.

I install amule 2.0.0rc5 all think fine, but i can't see  very well all because fonts are big, and with my resolution  of 800x600 seem don't usefull.

Can i set up amsn to work with samller fonts?

Thanks an sorry by my english.

"Can i set up amsn to work with samller fonts?" <- O_o you mean aMule? I guess yes...
Check http://wiki.amule.org there's a doc for fonts on debian. See if that helps.
Greetings!

first i try without restart xwin... don't work later i try restarting pc.. dont work then i remove package xfonts 100 and 75 dpi, amule, restart pc, thenisntall  xfonts 100 and 75 dpi, restart pc then install amule, again restart pc.. i probe and amule look out same, it work perfect, don't seem have any functionality problem.

Only when i run it first say that locale systen don't be found (i have C) and it work with default.

i think it work fine with a resolution of 1024 x 768.. but i belive that it dont work with my resolution.

thanks

Ya, i have the same problem in Mandrake 10.0 Oficial, with KDE.

Not only the Toolbar doesnt appear completly (have to stretch the window to access preferences), but preferences windows also, where  the buttons are inacessible, making impossible to set anything at 800x600.

Well, it seems like You have the problem I had. You just have to change gtk1 theme
On debian just run
# apt-get install gtk-theme-switch

And then as a regular user
$ switch

This program lets You change theme (including fonts ofcourse). :)

Regards.
