.rar files in Linux don't shared
« on: August 31, 2004, 01:16:27 PM »

Hello, when I start my amule in Linux, in the log Register appears the next message "Founds 10 shared files, 3 unknowns", I have translated the message becausse I have amule in spanish. I've seen in the Shared option that the files that are not shared are the files with rar extensions or with another rare extension like .1 or .2, people puts names very strange.
What can I do to share all the files I have in the Incoming folder?
When I was downloading this .rar files they were shared and uploaded.

Thanks:
    Kike

When files are unknown they should get hashed and when finished hashing they get shared. If that, for some reason, doens't happen try removing the file 'known.met' from your ~/.aMule directory. When you start aMule again it should hash and share all the files in your shared-directory.
