amuleweb: bash: amuleweb: command not found
« on: September 14, 2004, 10:04:00 PM »

well sorry to bother you, but i'm still new to linux and so i don't know that much yet.

i installed(emerged gentoo) the 2.0.0rc5 client, copyed from the source the webserver + template and did also do anything else what the manual said to enable the webserver, amule itsself works pretty fine but:

how do i start amuleweb?
i tried it in several ways but all i got was:

bash: amuleweb: command not found

$amuleweb didn't do anything neither
find amuleweb doesn't list any file with that name ...

i think it's a little prob but this one gives me hard times :/ perhabs someone with more knowledge can anser me what i did wrong :)

thx

well i forgot to use the 'command'

USE="remote"

in make.conf

... but if i recompile it now it just says that remote doesn't work with gtk2 --> USE="-gtk2"
produces the same fault ...

so we'll see if i get this prob solved by unemerge the whole thingy and emerge it again with the USE Falgs.

I keep u updated :)

and for the gentoo people...ther is (at least there was) a mistake in the ebuild...
not sure if it ever got fixed till now...
you ahve to download wxBase(2.4.2) maybe yourself and install it...because you need it for webserver to work!
