sonofsky,

This backtrace is not helpfull, unfortunately. You have to compile amule yourself and then use gdb, so that we can see what has actually caused the crash.

Please read:
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Compilation_Installation
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Backtraces
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Using_gdb_and_valgrind

And if you will compile it yourself, I would recommend that you get a recent cvs tarball, there are many bugs fixed already:
http://amule.hirnriss.net/cvs/aMule-cvs-20040922.tar.bz2

btw, I am on FC2 too, maybe I can help.

Cheers!

It's probably a met file

Options:

a) move away .aMule and .eMule dir and folder and retry.

b) Use a cvs tarball, and be happy.

Same error.

I used aMule from the release of RC5 on my FC2... but from 5-6 days it doesn't work any more.

I think that it's a trouble from one of last "yum update"

ZuZZu,

Check to see if yum changed the wxGTK/wxBase. You should use the rpms we give in our download page, Fedora rpms are bogus. I do not use yum, I use apt, so, there must be a way with yum to inhibit an update for a determined set of packages, if you could check this and post here, it would be nice :D

Cheers!

Hey, lots of wrong things:

1) wxPythonGTK2-2.4.2.4-0.fdr.3.2 -> REMOVE
2) wxGTK-common-2.4.2-0.fdr.2.2 -> This is not from our home page, REMOVE
3) wxGTK2-gl-2.4.2-0.fdr.2.2 -> REMOVE
4) wxBase-2.4.2-1 -> Should be right, but in face of 2), reinstall ours
5) wxGTK-2.4.2-4.1.fc2.dag -> not ours, REMOVE and reinstall ours
6) wxGTK2-2.4.2-0.fdr.2.2 -> REMOVE
7) wxGTK-devel-2.4.2-4.1.fc2.dag -> REMOVE and install ours.

Read this:
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Compilation_Installation

and look here for the packages:
http://www.amule.org/dl/index.php?category=3

Cheers!

95% sure you are missing gettext

install it and compilation should go on ;)
