I have slackware 9.1.  Adn i acces internet though a router and an adsl of 640kps.  In my router setting, i could not find something relevating to a port.  I know i have a file /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall but i do't know what lines i must inscribe there of if i must. Please help me.

pauloref,

Ok, take it easy, we will sort it out.

Please, post here the exact message the amule gives you.

I can't help you with your router. Maybe someone else can.

Try this command as root:

$ iptables -n -L

And paste the results here.

Cheers!

If you accessing internet thru home router (i mean external device, connected between adsl line and your computer ethernet) you should read manual of this device.
Also check that you don't block port on local firewall: iptables -v -L
