Dear all,

I am writing to ask if anyone has any information about getting aMule to complete a corrupted part.

The file in question is very large, so it would be undesireable to start again

aMule at the moment keeps downloading the penultimate part, reports that it is corrupted in the log, and starts downloading a small bit of the part again. So far, this seems to be going on in an endless loop.

Is there any way that I can "clear" that part, and get aMule to download it again , hopefully without corruption?

You will have to use rc6 - it will automatically guesss which client is sending you wrong data and then re-dl the corrupted parts from legit clients.

Thanks for the information Kry! I take it that it's possible to transfer the already completed files to rc6 - would that just be a case of copying/moving the part and met files to the relevant folders?

Edit: I found that just by specifying the already present aMule folders, rc6 picked the files up straight away - nice!
